Alcohol

Like everything in life moderation is important here.

It is said that up to two glasses of wine a day can cut your risk of heart disease by up to a third.

Try not to exceed your daily or weekly allowance for units, which are two or Three Units per day or no more than 14 units a week. (Three or Four Units a day or 21 units per week for the chaps)

Alcohol can dehydrate your body so after a heavy night at a party, or nightclub, etc. - make sure you drink plenty of water the next morning.

Regular alcohol abuse will take its toll on your body and will even speed up the aging process. Following the governments recommended guide for alcohol consumption could help to maintain your health and well-being.

Busy and hectic lifestyles mean that increasingly many of us want to play hard to forget the daily grind. This has led to a rise in anti-social behaviour and an increase in violence and personal injury.

Once intoxicated, we loose all sense of reality and would do things that can be totally out of character.

Binge Drinking and high heels don’t mix! After a (good?) night out many women are finding they are waking up in the infirmary with some rather nasty injuries such as cuts, bruises, even broken limbs! Take care, control your drinking - the key word is moderation!
